DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

You Followed the Steps.
So Why Did the Fit Still Go Wrong?

Sometimes we keep correcting a garment during stitching when the uncertainty may have started much earlier.

Knowing how to stitch and feeling confident about the measurements you take are not necessarily the same thing.
01

You still check an old blouse

Before cutting, you feel safer comparing your measurements with an existing garment that already fits.

02

The fit isn't always predictable

One garment turns out beautifully while another needs repeated adjustments — even when you followed the steps.

03

Expensive fabric makes you hesitate

The moment the fabric is precious, that little question appears: “Have I taken everything correctly?”

04

You don't know where the error began

Was it measurement, drafting, cutting or stitching? It becomes difficult to diagnose the real issue.

05

Measuring someone else feels different

Especially when you think about eventually making garments for friends, clients or paying customers.

06

Every tutorial seems different

Different measurement lists. Different starting points. Different formulas. Which system should you actually follow?

BEFORE THE FIRST STITCH

Good Garment Making Starts Much Earlier Than Stitching.

MEASUREMENT
DRAFTING
CUTTING
STITCHING

Measurement is the information on which the next stages of garment making are built.

If your starting measurements are uncertain, everything that follows is working with uncertain information.

About Sujata Dutta

Sujata Dutta

Hi, I’m Sujata Dutta — fashion designer, mentor and founder of Designer’s Mastermind Hub.

Over the years, one thing I have seen repeatedly is that women often keep learning more designs, necklines, sleeves and stitching techniques while still feeling uncertain about the very foundation on which a garment begins — the body measurements.

That is why I created a structured measurement system that helps learners understand not simply what number to write down, but where that measurement comes from and how the body should be approached systematically.

“My goal is not to make you memorise measurements. I want you to understand the process behind them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Still Wondering If You Should Join?

Do I need to be an expert at stitching?
No. The bootcamp is best suited to someone who already has some basic exposure to stitching or garment making and now wants to strengthen her measurement foundation.
Is this suitable for complete beginners?
You can certainly understand the concepts, but the bootcamp will be most valuable if you already have some familiarity with garment making and understand why accurate measurements matter.
Is the bootcamp LIVE?
Yes. The sessions are conducted LIVE so you can learn through demonstration and guided practice.
Will learning measurements alone guarantee perfect fitting?
No single step determines the complete fit of a garment. Drafting, ease, cutting and construction also matter. This bootcamp focuses on strengthening the measurement foundation on which those later stages depend.
Is this useful if I want to start taking garment orders?
Yes. Learning to follow a consistent body-measurement process is an important foundation when you begin creating garments for different people.
How much does it cost?
The investment for the LIVE 2-Day Measurement Bootcamp is ₹499.
